I have trouble installing new computer
programs - the installation program dumps
me to Windows before it finishes.
Some installation programs can "hang" if any other
applications are running in the background during installation. When installing new
software, new files and updates to existing files may be added to your hard drive. If
existing files which need updatging are in use, the installation program may hang. Make
sure that the installation program is the only application running while you are
installing software. Try to re-run the installation program, but make sure that all other
applications are closed. Make sure that the Office Toolbar is closed and that all virus
checking is off.
